A vast network of caves exists beneath much of Thompson Valley, however few of us have experienced the magnificence and thrill of discovery of this world beneath our feet. On Friday Sept. 14th at 7:00 pm, Mike Ficco and friends will give a presentation on the ongoing exploration of the caves of Thompson Valley.
There will be photos and maps of the more than 17 miles of cave passages that have been mapped in the area to date, as well as a displays and discussion of the equipment that they use. They also look forward to hearing from those of us who might have a hole on our property and have always wondered “where does that go?”.
Coffee and light refreshments will be provided.
The Center is pleased to announce that we will be working with Terry Mullins and Louise Leslie to create a historical photo book about Thompson Valley.
